Belgium United Nations
The Permanent Mission of Belgium to the United Nations was tasked with preparing a Fifth Committee Manual for the 2022-2023 session. It was to gather information on the rules, procedures, practices, and topics pertaining to the Fifth Committee (also known as the Administrative and Budgetary Committee) of the General Assembly.
This book was designed to be a useful tool for both UN delegates and the public overall — to foster a better understanding of the UN Budgetary Issues and the functioning of the Fifth Committee.
Past designs of this manual were hard to read, digest, and remain engaged. My goal with this design was to clearly organize layers of detailed information, keep the reader engaged in the content, and not overwhelm the reader.
Manual Translation to French
After the Manual was completed, it was requested to translate the entire book into French to accommodate a wider audience. Each piece of information was translated, including custom infographs.
